I am from Lake Como.. stunning place if you get chance to visit. Own a small resturante in Sala if you fancy a nice meal

Ah, that's only 745 miles. Easy day trip.

By coincidence, did you know that the miles-to-kilometers conversion factor (rounded down to 1 decimal place) is the same as the Canon APS-C-to-full-frame conversion factor? Yep: 1.6.

Christmas market in Piazza Bora.
Mole Antonelliana, the tallest masonry building in Italy and a complete view of the city from the top.

So much architecture to see. Best thing would be to do a thorough online search.

Enjoy

You mention driving, are you driving there or just around there?

I always drive down. I am very close to the tunnel and I like having my own car down there. Very nice drive once you get past mundane french roads!

Well every other weekend than personally took train from London to Paris and got there within time of opening FM on slow network Amazing speed and convenience, remember we have to fly for 9 hours to get same place as you in just couple of train hours. Enjoy!
