Thanks Greg and Lazlo.
Greg- I grew up in Huntington Park (SE of LA a few miles). Then and all the many years since, I've never liked Hollywood enough to want to emulate anything about it .
Lazlo. As with all my foreign travels, I didn't bring a tripod when I was in Israel. Hand-holding for this pic, I missed my focus (it was a speedy grab shot). I've sharpened about as much as I know how- without destroying the image. But I agree with you on the desireability of what you suggest.

For what it's worth Charlie, I think ultra sharpness is not always necessary.
I'd like to see a little more detail too.
You caught him in just the right spot.

Great, Charlie.
I think what Lazlo wants (I'm guessing) is these two areas are blown out and we miss the detail in them.
regards, tom
You're probably right, Tom.
I agree with the sentiment. There actually WAS no detail to bring out. I suppose I could manufacture some- or just yield to reality .

I have been enjoying all of these Charlie. I agree with Lazlo that it would be nice to see a little more detail in the highlights. Still a wonderful shot.
