Yes it only has one focal length but its gonna take me a while to learn to use this lens properly. Grabbed a couple of snaps at my parents this afternoon. Man I love this lens.... Check out the DOF. The D700 is 5MP in crop mode, which uses the same area of the lens as the D7000. The 24mm f1.4G is really designed for FX cameras and the image quality will be so much more sharper and refined than when used on a DX body. I used to use a lot of Canon 'L' glass on a 40D and was always blown away with the results. But when I got my 5D mk2 I was gobsmacked at how superior the images were on full frame.
