p.1 #1 · Multiple MAC Wireless devices in same room

Long story short my wifes PC just crashed. I have a 1 year old 27" IMAC I7 Loaded that I am going to push to her and I just ordered the new 27" IMAC I 7 3.4 Gig Loaded from Apple.....

Jesus Apples is gonna love me > I just got the new Macbook Pro a few days ago and now this!!!

My main concern is that I use the wireless keyboard and mouse on this Imac and I ordered the wireless devices with the New IMAC too.....

Both computers are in close proximity to one another (About 4 feet) Is there going to be a cross talk issue? If someone has to go hardwired it's gonna have to be the Mrs

Anyone have multiple wireless Mac setups

Thanks

Ant

My wife runs a BT wireless KB on her iMac, and I run one on my MacPro. Both are in the same room, and they never interfere with one another.

If it is BT, devices have to be initially told that it is OK to connect.

Thanks George

Yes they are all BT devices. But not sure if they will cross talk or not......... Is blue tooth coded on both ends?

I have an iMac, Mac Pro and MacBook pro in the same office. No issues with wireless keyboards, mice or bluetooth in general. Both the iMac and Mac Pro are connect via ethernet to the world. WiFi is too slow for moving large files.

I have bluetooth keyboards, mice, and trackpads all over the house, including multiple items in the same rooms. Once you pair a given device with a given computer, you will have no "crosstalk" problems.

It can be a bit confusing when you initially attempt to pair a device, because you will see multiple devices that are in range, however most will have familiar names because they are already paired, so it isn't too difficult to determine which listed device is the desired one.

You can even connect two BT mice to one computer.
