Totally legit! Started by some people in my hometown here in Des Moines, IA about a year ago I believe, lots of local businesses accept it. It is taking off pretty fast!
ok, so spent some a few minutes looking at it. From what I can tell, it does not take credit cards, but is more of a direct wire transfer system from bank account to bank account. What is not clear is if customers would need to setup an account to pay you. If that is the case, that would seem a little gimmicky when going over payment with a client. Anyone have actual experience and can explain how that works?
That's my take, too, Joel. After reading it, it's pretty clear this is not related to credit cards, but is a way "to accept cash from customers," which -- even after reading their site a couple times, I still don't really grasp.
Yeah, it's awesome and would be easy to accept. You'd just need clients who were on board as well. Let's just cross our fingers and hope it takes off...
