Does anybody [except Canon] produce a [Canon] mount 135 f2? I rented the Canon for a shoot a couple weeks ago and abosolutey loved it. Too bad it is not in the x-mas budget. Rokinon - how 'bout it?

There are few manual focus 135/2 lenses you can adapt to canon cameras but I can't figure any native EF mount lenses except the 135L.

The Nikon 135/2 is an excellent performer, and can easly be adapted or converted to Canon.

The Canon FD 135mm f2 is likely very similar to the EF lens in performance. It was quite a bit less expensive than the EF lens last time I looked, though if I had a Canon the autofocus and auto aperture would make me prefer the EF lens. I had the 135mm f2 EF lens for awhile - great lens, but I found it extremely difficult to nail focus with any practical subject at f2 given the 5D autofocus system. Now with my Panasonic GH2 it would be something else altogether - very easy to nail focus is especially with the face recognition autofocus.

The FD is actually a good alternative to the EF. Almost as good

There is an excellent Contax Zeiss 135/2 that you can buy on a used market, but it's even more expensive than the Canon.
Canon FD 135/2 is also an option but I don't think it matches the stellar performance of EF 135/2.
