Which lens adapters are you guys using? I'm using mostly fotodiox which although good are very pricey.
My next adapter purchase will be a Leica R to EOS with Dandelion Chip for focus confirm but fotodiox are asking $39.95 for the consumer grade adapter and a whopping $139.95 for the pro version!
I've seen them on ebay for $20 chipped. Any advice on good adapters welcome
Probably cause focus confirmation isnt that much useful, it works really good on D3s for example, but not that good on Canons (maybe calibrated 1Ds would work better than 5D, but no idea, havent tried).

This is disappointing to read this as I'll be using it with a 7D. About 30-40% of my shots are unusable due to focusing issues with alt lenses. I was hoping for a better return using an adapter with a chip...
I also use unchipped ones only. Over time you get used to it. I have a chipped one from the old days and it is not precise and only annoys me. The newer ones might be good though - I have not tried.
The expensive adapters are usually quite good, but I use lots of cheap ones as well.
I have a 7d and have had 3 Zeiss contax lenses and I used chipped adapters from rainbowimaging on all 3. The af confirmation is spot on, they are easy to program and they cost like $30.
My Contax Zeiss 28mm f2.8 is very easy to focus on the 7D despite the terrible focusing screen.
