p.1 #1 · SIIG USB 3.0 reader asking to reformat CF card?

Just got myself a SIIG usb 3.0 card reader.
It is asking me to reformat my Sandisk Extreme IV cards (45mb/s and 60 mb/s) even though the cards have photos on them and works on my old usb 2.0 reader.
And after i reformat it in the PC, the card won't work on the camera.
Can't find any answers on the net, anyone know why?

Reformat card in your camera. If that doesn't work, then format in a different brand camera, then format in your brand camera.

That is very strange and should not happen. Just out of curiousity, does the reader work normally on a USB 2.0 port?

It is asking the same thing in 2.0 too.
i think i will return the reader tomorrow for another one
