| p.1 #1 · I see dead things. . . | |
I guess it's OK as long as I'm not posting in the "People" forum.
Actually, I find nature photography in NE Ohio in November (and through the winter) is often about rocks or dead things. At any rate, here are three that I liked.
1. Seed pod (spent flower), pitcher plant. This is from a true bog close to Kent, Ohio, where there are a good many pitcher plants, lowbush cranberries and tamarak trees. Taken last weekend.
2. Another spent blossom--not sure of the "weed" it came from, but I liked the swirling form of this one. Taken two years ago, but it seemed to fit the topic.
3. Posted a color version of this milkweed seed pod a while ago, but I liked the way the B&W version turned out.
All B&Ws generated with Nik Silver Efex Pro 2 (a new conversion of image #2).
Let me know what you think of my dead stuff.
