Not a fan of Lens Baby stuff, but this is a nice utilization of it ... a nice LB shot.

Scott,

Sense of vertigo for me, I'm curious how a slightly darkened vignette might work? Is there room to move the porch floor off mid-frame?

Nit: the numbers appear to me, and you know I'm anal about these things, out of sync with the door frame - too clear, too vertical (almost is if on a vertical plane by themselves) as the frame recedes to the back - perhaps an artifact of the spherical nature of a Lensbaby (never having used one myself)?

That all said, a very nice image - evokes an eerie atmosphere.

Wow, you ran up those stairs very quickly didn't you.

This is a great subject for this. You captured depth, which is very difficult. And you captured movement. For me this one works very well.

For the focus my eye goes from the circle on the left to the red paint on the upper part of the door on the right.

I wonder what this would look like in a print.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am torn about the mid-frame floor. And I think your comment about the numbers is a good one. I could selectively blur the numbers for more mood.

Thanks! Not sure it will make it to print. I have most a show's framed images sitting around at home. And this one is not to everyone's taste.

Hi Scott. I didn't mean put it in a photo show. I was talking specifically to look at a print, sometimes it can give you a different perspective than what you see on the computer screen. I print most of my own photos, so I sometimes just print out a 8 x 12 just to have a look at them.

The muse arrived.
