I like the first better -- more of a feeling of depth and color more vibrant.

#1 gets my vote as well. I know this is a personal taste thing and it also may be my monitor, but the blacks seem to be a little crushed. I'd like to see a tad bit more detail in the horizontal board. I seem to like photos less contrasty the the prevailing trend here.
