Great stuff, people! Much too much of it to name every one or critique every shot. But I can't not mention sebboh, denoir, Ajay, David, gunzorro, Steve, and, of course, bifurcator. You guys turn flowers into pure poetry. My hat off to all of you!

So many good shots here it is hard to comment on all the good ones, but I want to at least say how much I like the following shots even though I am sure I am leaving out others deserving attention:
Mike Reid - I love the backlit orchid
BIF - so many nice shots, but I especially like those with the OM 38, Nikkor 55, and Minolta 50 macros, the phlox shot with the Nikkor 35-70, and the iris shots with the FD 300
Luka (denior) - Loved #2 of the dandelion out to seed, #7 of the black-eyed susans, and #10 of the blanket flower with the moth
davidearls - the phlox shot was terrific
sebboh - #2 of the water lily was especially nice
Ajay - loved #2 of the clematis on the mailbox and it is not surprising at all that #6 of the california poppy was published. It is phenomenal and really shows why I want to get the MP 100.
no flashes or tripods for me. always to much movement for a tripod to be useful and getting lighting that will mimic natural light is too much work for me. sadly this means i see a noticeable drop in color fidelity due to high iso.
