Hi,
I've done some research on the "right" polar filter for the D7k (67mm).
Based on the ECONO RANKING further down http://www.lenstip.com/115.4-article-Polarizing_filters_test_Results_and_summary.html, my actual candidate is Marumi DHG Circular P.L.D.
Some other suggestions from your side?

I'm using a Marumi CPL from recommendations on this forum that sometimes referenced that test - I find the B+W's to be too saturated - the Marumi's seem to be on the "gray" side - I'm still undecided if it is a good polarizer in regard to color and negative effect on the images - I wasn't happy with my last images using the Marumi. They are priced right - since I don't use a polarizer often - cheap is OK for now.

Of the polarizers I've used in the past and was most satisfied with was the Nikon - nice and neutral and polarize very well - I just wish they made an 82mm.

Thanks. In Germany, the Nikon filter is about EUR 100,-, an interesting alternative could be the HOYA: http://www.amazon.de/Hoya-Polarisationsfilter-Cirk-Pro1-Digital/dp/B000KL5T9G/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top. BR

Usually filters are paired with lenses NOT bodys. Guess you're referring to the kit lens re: 67mm

Make sure that whichever one you choose is multi-coated. I have a 67mm LightCraft that I use with my 70-300 VR
and it works great, wasn't an arm and a leg either.

I bought the Marumi DHG last summer to replace a Hoya SMC that decided to roll off the edge and into Dettifoss in Iceland, last summer. I'm a polarizer guy and really like the Marumi. I would buy another if this one rolls away into another waterfall.
