There were hundreds of wild fires in Idaho and Montana. This was the effects of the Mustang Complex Fire south of Missoula. This was also my first Pan with my camera. This was hand held. I know, bad boy. It was shot on the fly from roadside. I still like it.
second shot is awesome phillip. i really think the samyang 85 is the best lens around for doing narrow dof stitches due it's smooth consistant bokeh across the frame. sadly, i'm not super enthused by it's color, but it's not that bad.
Not up to Phillip's standard, but i had a brief play with shallow DOF panos a couple of years back using my Samyang 85mm. Two rows, 18 images in total. The bokeh is very nice on this lens:
