It appears to be in Sacramento. If that is where you live you should have it soon!

Actually it does seem to be. I hadn't realised that the wall ran there, but it appears to have:

I found an interactive map of the wall, but it doesn't seem to have any way to save a location. I have added a little black square right on the guard tower, near the bottom-right of the cluster of points, close to Oberbaumbruecke:

Guard Tower

Wow, quite an urban artifact. I did not think any of the guard tower would be still standing there.

I like your building series. Very interesting, and it gives the feeling of New York a bit.

Akul, great cityscapes/buildings with 50mm planar. My favourite is this, thou the ones where reflected light is used are also very good.

Contax Vario-Sonnar T* 4/80-200 @ f/8, HDR(1/80s, 1/200s, 1/500s), ISO 100

Thank you everyone !
Samuli - As always, beautiful shots. 'Being there' ness is quite strong with the first one. I also like the captured light on the secon / third shots.

Hello everyone. Been a very long time since I've posted or even commented on this thread! Akul, always nice to see your work, as always! I can always identify your pictures!
Samuli...your work with all your Zeiss lenses blows me away!!!
Well, I recently purchased a 50 1.4 mmj lens again, and while it is actually very sharp wide open, it is off at infinity focus....is there way I can adjust myself, or do I need to send it to Zeiss in NY. And it is my understanding that Zeiss will still work on mmj versions, just not the older aeg lenses? Correct?
Thanks again,
Gregg

You can probably do it yourself, but you might want to consider using a different adapter. I got an adapter with EMF chip from ebay seller big_is (well known for adapters) and I have the same lens as you but it didn't reach infinity, so apparently the adapter was too thick. On a cheaper adapter the lens gave me infinity focus and better performance -- somehow the thick adapter seemed to increase field curvature.
