Thank you . I lost my phone up here (at least it's a cheapo one) while trying to do some astrophotography (ended up too cloudy to see any star). Came back today to look for it but no luck
Btw, a question regarding 2/25D, I tried it on as well, ad the focus ring was by far the stiffest I've tried in any ZF lens and the throw very small. Can anyone confirm the stiffness (or was this just a copy issue). If I ever got it it would be for street and such stiffness does not lend itself to candid photog imo (otoh, it's not the optimal lens anyway)

Stiffness may go away with usage. A brand new shouldnt really be stiff I guess, but older lenses sometimes are - and usually loosen up.
I don't like the idea and can't subscribe to it taking my experience into account with other dslr Zeiss lenses, that they will loosen up upon usage (not considerably, anyway). That would be considered 'wear' imo. Quite the contrary, I'm impressed with how consistent the stiffness has been with all my ZF lenses.
This is however kind of interesting. Perhaps when I get home I'll rank the stiffness of my lenses and make a thread about it and ask you lot to do the same, to see if there is any consistency or if each lens-copy has its own stiffness (which it keeps) regardless of model.
Off the top of my head I do believe my 21P is the 'loosest' followed by perhaps the 50P or 28D.
Not a very interesting image but shows what a lens the 21 2.8 is... The squirrel was moving and it was handheld, wide open and focused in a rush... just phenomenal.
