Thanks kind people, Z, edward, hiepphotog & akul. Yes, film is very special and I am just getting acquainted with it.
hiepphotog, totally agree with rirakuma on that market shot, it's well hidden secret centered of screen due to the enormous and blurry wing shot, but I keep looking at the details and it grows on you and is simply amazing.
Ronny, now you're playing with photoshop, right? (Global knife). Love to see where this leads to :-)

Here's another film shot, again that -64 Volvo. Contax S2 and Contax 28/2.8. For those interested this is TMAX400 (an "ISO400" film). It is scanned as a 13MP jpg by the lab. The character is so very different from digital, but I am starting to appreciate it. Seeing what I liked in other peoples film shots. At first I looked upon them as my own digital 5D2 images, but that's a no-go. It's different, and yes edward and akul I agree - no grain no film, no film different character. Still character of course, but VERY different.
Funny when you think about it. All these Contax lenses where made for THIS kind for photography (and therefor in some way also the current ZE/ZF derivatives). They where not made for what we do now with our 5D2's or whatever. Yet they're awesome in another dimension today. This part is really worth an own thread. When I think about how much talk there is about the colors these lenses yields on digital, I cant help thinking about how different they would look on color film. There the chemicals outrun the optics color impact by horselengths. Film color is very different from digital, much more different say than a Canon sensor (redish) compared to a Nikon (greenish).
Looking on akuls images above (ZF21) they have absolutely great colors. Great images too akul btw! I have the ZE21 which yields this too, in the right light colors are awesome. I bet the Contax 21/2.8 would do exactly this (well VERY close at least). Yet it was made for a totally different setup.
Ehrm - thanks for reading all this text, film is just occupying my mind a lot right now, sry for his lengthy post. Finally here's the Volvo.
