I purchased this lens prior to a trip to Rome about three years ago. Receipt is available if requested. The lens is in very good condition with some minor wear marks on the focus ring and damage to the front of the lens cap from a lens cap protector I had attached. I'm selling the lens because I have this focal range covered with L lenses and in the last two years I've only had it out of the box 2-3 times.

Also included is the Canon EW-83J lens hood which is in excellent to mint condition and a HOYA Super HMC Pro 1 UV(0) filter, also in excellent condition. The filter is super slim, 1mm glass and 3mm ring with front threads. I paid $95.00 for the filter (Adorama) and have had it attached since I unpacked the lens.
There is very little dust behind the front glass. The picture of the lens front has a boatload of light entering the lens which is revealing some dust specs that I couldn't see before the shot was taken. Under normal lighting, if there is much dust behind the glass, you can't see it.
