p.1 #1
· A different take on Rome
Hi all,
This is my first post on the forum and I thought to start with three shots from my trip to Rome last December. Equipment used was 5D with 17-40 / 4. All c&c is highly appreciated!

You have some very creative framing going on here, and I like the way you've emphasized that constant shade of blue throughout the series.
In 1, I really like the varied textures, and the interplay of sunlight and shadows.
On 2, I find myself squinting a bit -- is it out of focus, or soft? Maybe it's just me.
Nice series.

Thanks for your comments GonzagaJere, much appreciated!
I think you are right about 2, it's a tad soft. Not sure why though, might be a bit out of focus. I'll have to check it closer in Photoshop.

A more appropriate title would have been "A Different Perspective of Rome."
Such a beautiful environment to take images of.
Thanks for sharing.
