Heres some from todays outing. All hand held. I was so angry, while I was leaving I noticed what seemed to be another japanese hornet so I jumped out of the way (possibly allergic to stings :P )...turned out to be a hummingbird! Snapped all of two pictures that were OOF and then it dissapeared.

I spent a half hour trying to get a good shot of these guys...but the water was just too wet to hop in to get the shot I wanted :P

what a beautiful series of shots. the whole series is really nice. I really like the brownish wasp-y critter in #5 and 6.
