This is a very lovely piece of furniture. I love all the grain in the oak and how varied it is in this piece. Modern furniture makers try to get all the grain so similar, but I prefer the character of these older pieces. I love the light and composition in the photo as well. Good luck this week,
Thank you so much. I agree about the older furniture. I feel the same way about the old glass. At first I thought there was some lens or perspective distortion, but then I realized that especially the tall clear ones weren't actually perfectly straight.
