If you mean which one do I think is the best, it's #1. The second one is too heavily processed and the third one looks like a negative (in my opinion.)
I was in Halong Bay (VN) twice. Twice I was drowned in extreme dense fog. It was so dense that the tourist boat had to navigate by radar alone. I couldn't take any decent picture even of fog. Just pure soup!!! this was the best pic, and it was nothing by itself,. So I started to play with it. Fully aggreed with you. as a photograph N#1 looks best. N#3 is to dull, needs more contrast, color...
Nr 2 is on purpose pp to the extreme. That was the reason for "electronic art." I actually printed all 3 and decided to frame only Nr2. It is great, if one doesn't see it as a photograph but just some thing of a phantasy
