Well at the risk of sounding like a complete nerd.....I own it. A company made limited edition full sized replicas of the helmet a couple of years ago. I've always been a fan of the movie and just had to get one. It's made of real metal, has an internal liner along with polycarbonate tinted lenses.

Thanks for the kind comments. As you may know the whole movie takes place in the late 30's and I always liked the retro styling of the movie. The helmet and jetpack, of course, reflect that look. I actually don't own the jetpack and that's because no one sells it. Needless to say, my wife is happy about that.
