p.1 #1 · How do you make this?? (collage/sequence w/ seperating borders)
Ive read a few books and also try to find tutorials and video ttorials on you tube to find out how to do this with no luck. All I find/learn is how to make the usual simple black border with the white keyline in between the pic and the black border.
But Id like to make a nice "sequence/collage" of 2-4+ pics that is nicely evenly seperated with uniform borders around the collage and a faint pinline border around the entire thing. WITHOUT eyeballing it or doing it ghetto dragging style.
A sample taken from "Preposterous" on Flickr is basically exactly what I want to do.

That is super easy in any version of photoshop. Create a new doc a little larger thant three times the size of an individual photo, drag the photos in and place them. Viola.

This is how I would approach it, as I do quite a few page layouts myself. In CS3 Photoshop I first make a template of the page layout, in this case you want the borders just so, with black in the rectangles where the photos will go. I use the guides and the grid to make sure everything is lined up. Then, one by one, select each rectangle and opening the photo you want in another window, edit/copy/all - go back to your template with the rectangle selected and 'paste into'.
