JohnJ80 Offline Image Upload: Off Gitzo GM2540 monopod tall enough for someone that is 5'8.5" tall? I'm 6' and that is what I use. The 2540 is slightly too large for me with a 40D or 5D on board with or without a grip. with the 3232 it is about 3" too high when extended on a hard floor. This is a good thing because then it is pretty much adjustable up or down on uneven ground. The 2540 is my very favorite monopod (I have 4 - don't ask). j May 02, 2008 at 02:54 AM
