...in a rainy day, I should add. I was surprised to seed baby feeding so early in the season, but these House Finches seemed not to care much about seasons (and rain). A nice behavioral attitude of birds, always fun and a pleasure to watch.
Taken with the 400mm. @ ISO 1600 - Tv: 1/500 except the last one at 1/100.
C&C welcome,

Wonderful behavioral study Socrate. I love watching this in the springtime. The young sit and flutter their wings and the parents tirelessly feeding them. You captured it all beautifully. I like the proud papa in the last.

Well done my friend.

Thanks, Tim. You got that right. And the funny thing is: the food is right there, but the spoiled brats are still screaming and fluttering their wings begging for food from their parents as if they are dying.

Awesome stuff! How long do you usually wait for images like these?
Hi Fidel. Thanks for your comments. Well you have to wait for springtime first, then it is not hard to get this kind of pics if you wait by the feeder. Here are some more from another good father
