These are type of orb weaver called golden orb weaver - nephilia plumipes, they are covering Sydney at the moment and I have hundreds in my garden. I like spiders I must admit.
Nice capture, but watch the lighting, it's a bit harsh and I think the pic is too small to appreciate the detail.
Guess this prey is getting 'snack wrapped' for later. Good focus, better light next time for more detail and color. Gonna have to give a few a try soon.
