I know thapamd (mahesh thapa http://www.starvingphotographer.com/) did a tutorial a while back which was quite good. In general though CS3 isnt great, photoomatrix offers more flexibility and in my opinion better results.
That said I do not like HDR. There is a great future in it but at the moment the software just isnt at the level it needs to be. Exposure bending offers far superior results in my opinion.

i think HDR is a great tool in the right hands... it can produce unnatural results, but when used well it can yield results that are the most true to what you see at the time of capture.

I agree about the software level, but otherwise ND Grads results are not so good as well and require quite an investment, so there should be some way...
