I am looking for a photo album. I want to put it together as a portfolio. Here is my problem. I have been several places and all I can find are the boring 3 ring binders. I found some really nice "scrapbooks". They are the 2 post expandable albums. However the 2 post scrapbooks won't fit the standard photo pages. I want to be able to have 4x6, 5x7, and 8x10's. The people I have talked to at the stores, tell me that I can't get the expandable post style albums that take the 3ring pages I want to use. Is this true? Do I have to settle for the cheap (although they cost more) looking albums?
[edit] I feel your pain when it comes to searching for these things. I spent hours looking online and going around to various places to look for them. They seem to be either too cheap looking, too cheap feeling, or they are perfect, except one little feature missing/added that ruins the whole presentation. Finally, you have the "perfect" ones that are 3x what you wanted to spend.[/edit]
I personally have the Pina-Zangaro Machina case. Very modern, sleek, very cool looking. Obviously at the price, you can't buy 5 or 6 and ship them across the country, but they are great for local portfolio interviews/viewings.
B&H seems to have them. Just search for ITOYA. Better descriptions and photos of them at the B&H site.

These Prat albums are very nice. Not sure it's what you are looking for, but definitely not 3-ring, and they're well made. They're leather-bound, come in a variety of sizes and hold about 40 photos.
