I am looking at getting those two items...I have relative idea on what I want, but where is the best place to get it. I live in florida...I was looking on B&H site and found that the extended warranty can't be used in florida. This is true for any online sites. I could go to bestbuy and CC, but never big on them for big ticket items. Any one have suggestions?
We just purchased my dad an HD TV and did purchase and extended warranty, but only because if you don't use it, you get the money back. If I had to pay for a full warranty, I would skip it. They're a rip off price wise.
I found the sony store best alternate for buying the warranty. I was in the store other day. They had a deal where they would include the warranty, when you purchase the warranty. I was like okay. The price of the tv as comparable to bestbuy or CC. I decided to wait and find out that promo expired. They have a promo where if you buy the tv and blu-ray player...they will knock off lot of $$$. I think I am getting off about 500, I have to double check. I tend to avoid buying big ticket items from BB or CC. Too many scary stories. I tend to buy movies, music, memory cards, cables, etc. from them. PERIOD.
