When a PJ submits a photo to his editor/publisher, submit the JPG and the sRAW so the editor may check for image tampering. The RAW is probably too large a file to routinely do that, but sRAW is probably not. It would be a good way to prevent image fraud.
RAW files aren't tamper-proof. i believe DPP and a few others can re-save a RAW. the only true way to secure an image is by using the canon security kit.
