I took these photographs alongside many others on a trip to Seaford nr. Brighton in England. It was a pretty calm day and I had the opportunity to try out my new Lee filter system. Let me know what you think.
I love your first shot. Really excellent. I'm not sure about the second. I think I would have to see a larger version to see the details in the rock which look very interesting.
Thanks Sharon, The cliff on the second image is quite sharp on a higher resolution image, I'll try and post one later. These are chalk cliff which steadily get eaten into and then fall into the sea.
I love the second one!! Really do. It is such a clever composition. The small piece of cliff is very much the main object and by moving it to such a visually strong place it is very powerful. The light and dark clouds and the merging of sky and water also create a tremendous atmosphere.

I love the cold and ominous palette of the second picture! Great job on the composition as well. As for the first, perhaps a b&w conversion might be beneficial?
