I havent posted on her much especially with pics, but I feel I need to start getting some critiques to help me better myself. Here are 4 from an engagement shoot I did in Calistoga on Monday. They were 2 hours late and we have very limited time to shoot so hopefully I got some good ones!
Sol = Sol is the Latin name of the Sun, and the modern word for "Sun" in Spanish, Portuguese, Catalan, Icelandic (sól), Danish, Norwegian and Swedish. In Persian, it refers to a "solar year".
BAR = Bar may refer to:
A rod/stick, pole, or handrail made of structural steel
Grab bar
Rebar
an ingot or gold bar
Bar (diacritic), a line through a letter used as a diacritic
Bar (establishment), a retail establishment which serves alcoholic beverages
Bar (counter), the counter from which drinks are dispensed
Chris - relooking at the images, my crit is going to be pretty lame, so I'll apologize now - but I just don't feel connected to the shots. I mean, it's like in almost all the shots, I want to step closer..I don't 'feel' the shots..like a BW film shot without grain, if that makes any sense.
Hey Chris, the shots are nice and the set ups are good. But they are doing basically the same thing in all four. I would like to see a bit of variety in what they are doing.
Sweet palm tree
jeremy.... that's it... you're worthless and your fired from the FM forum.
back to the TOOBZ with you !
looks like these were shot in the bright of day... 2 hours late and didn't give you much time to shoot with them... THEN they are THIS affectionate? I don't get it... doesn't add up..
I see the off camera flash work... good fill - is that the shadow from your light stand pole in the lower right of "solbar" shot?
