Nice work Peter. I'm not used to Polo images, and was about to rant about wanting to see faces, but I can see that's almost impossible when they are playing.

Nice going - was that in the Phoenix park?

Merv.

Hi Merv,

Thanks for looking and yes it was in the Phoenix Park. I know about the faces especially in the last photo, but thought it was a good shot of the horse

Very nice sharp good color pictures.

I like 1,3,2 in order. Last no-one is looking at the camera and the horse looks distressed.

First has nice framing with umpire behind.

3rd has lots of action and faces.

2nd seems too small in frame.

Nice action series. Sharp captures. Interestingly, your images capture the horses' expressions best. It must be hard to get face shots of the players with their eyes and heads directed downward. 1 and 3 work best, capturing the participants faces. The last is too cluttered, faces blocked, but addresses the horses' experience.

Hi Scott,

Yes it is difficult to get the faces of the players in action since they are concentrating on the ball (looking down).

Thank you for your comments
