a few more from the "postcard machine", D3+14-24... and DR-5 !!
I really enjoyed that combo... and some advice to those who want to use the combo for landscape, I added the angle viewfinder almost systematically and this gave me very interesting viewpoints... it really adds another dimension. You can easily shoot close to the ground for instance, and you really compose differently. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3002/2325365060_2a278aaeb7_m.jpg
To me: highly recommended. (and I still find it a much better solution in practice than the life view modes)
I'm amazed by the evenness of exposure in all the shots. The UWA's I used all had this thicker glass syndrome, where the light enters the edges through more glass thereby creating deeper tones all around the frame, especially at the upper side where blue sky is captured. This lens has none of that, probably because of the bulbous shape of the front element.
Hi Gugs,
The creative option this combo gives the photographer is why I just ordered my 14-24. Can't wait to work with it on my D3! Nice shots and thanks for posting.
