Does a nice job, and covers me for my film cameras as well. Add in the 300 f/4 and 600f/4, as well as a couple of macro lenses and I'm covered for just about every thing I do. I guess I should be careful about saying that, as my wife might try to shut down any additional lens purchases I decide to make!
Primarily the 14-24 f2.8, 24-70 f2.8 and 70-200 f2.8vr with a 1.7xII teleconverter. I added a 70-300vr for lightweight longer reach stuff as well as a 50mm f1.4 for the "just in case" low light and portrait use. Yeah....I admit...I do have and USE a 18-200vr. I have no issues with that lens like some do.
or what other choices of combo do we have?
No prime lenses for this combo thread. Leave the 18-200 out as well!
thanks!
I'm with others in not understanding this thread. You match the 12-24 with the 24-70 and then match the 14-24 with the 17-55 And why not primes? I'm a pro zoom fan myself, but I have and use primes to great effect ... and plan on getting more. My kit would not be complete without it.
So, what is you real question? What are you trying to figure out?
I like to see the most popular lenses and what I want the most for my wish list.
