I am usually a landscape photographer. I always try some macro shots during spring time: I offer some flowers to my wife, she is happy, and I have great subject to play with during my kids nap.
Last week end I tried something different: I've attached my 36mm extension tube to my 100mm macro and I tried to play on the color, line and bokeh...I was please with some shots...what you guys think? is it working? All taken on the same flower!
First shot has a nice mix of some sharp edges and soft curves, nice color and shading, second shot more of soft curves and nice shading. Both enjoyable. Third shot may need a better comp, perhaps showing the extension of the ends of the petals to the right? All in a matter of how we each interpret. Last shot is my least favorite, seems rather harsh and not as interesting.
Nice to see these, I am sure you will have fun with flowers, colors and textures are endless enjoyment for me..........
Sedalia636: I can not figure what it is but I agree with you, it is my favorit - actually I turn it into my desktop background and it works GREAT
MichAg92: Thanks. I knew #3 has something special but I can not put my hands on it.
