the framing seems a little off to me? I absolutely love the sky/backdrop and the skating makes me want to go out and skate(which really makes me enjoy the photos). Shoot any sequences? Id love to see some of those (if you have any).
I'm no expert with shooting skating, but a couple things i picked up along the way is try to get as low as possible, makes for a better perspective and puts board right in your face so to speak. One other thing i had better luck with is having the center focus point centered on the individuals crouch, it helps keep everything in the image. Shooting the board typically cuts the skater out of the frame. I'd be interested to hear others opinions as well, so take mine with a grain of salt.
my favourite skate photos are ones where the whole body is incorporated. It gives you a better feel of the style of the skater. I find someone like PJ Ladd just ollieing looks better than tony hawk doing a 900. What I'm trying to say is that the images that Im most drawn too are those that capture style not necessarily the gnarliest trick.
