Here are some shots from a newbie. I'm just getting into bird photography. I've got lots to learn from everyone. Currently I'm shooting with 40D and the 100-400mm (recent upgrade).
These were shot from the Pacific Northwest here in Canada.
Thanks, The last one was a pretty sunny day but really windy...hence the bad hair day on the goldeneye. I remember the water did look very blue, I didn't do much post processing for any of these. Maybe I'll try to adjust the colour of the last one a bit.
I really like the first one! Can some of you experienced Photoshop users tell me what you would do to the last one? (Assuming it's raw...) I mean, what could you do about the extreme contrast? This would have been a perfect candidate for AEB, right?
