I have just got this back from Acratech, I sent it in to them since I found the panning base to be a little weak in its locking power. They have given the ballhead a complete overhaul and its now super strong in how its panning mechanism locks. (I have documentation to back this up of course) This is the more expensive model with all knobs being covered with rubber which is very comfortable to handle.
I love the behavior of this model but have decided to give something else a try (for a little while anyways)..
I am asking for $225 shipped (payent via money order or paypal echeque). It will come as it would from the company as they included new storage foam securely encasing it for travel.
