Nice shot. I loved the sky but there is too much fore ground. Croping it off a bit down from the stone wall makes a much stronger picture. Sometimes photos just don't fit a standard format.

Good Job

Hey Alan,

What a cool location. You captured it really nicely. I could see a pano crop here, losing about half the foreground, though this view is nice too.

Beautiful scene Alan!

Not to take anything away from it but I too might try a different crop as the tufts of grass in the lower left hand corner keep drawing my eye. I could see cutting those out and losing a little foreground to strengthen the image.

Alan... maybe a little off the foreground, but as an ex-pat in the US, I can never get enough of those greens. Nice work.

What a superb shot!

Hope I don't get a beat'n this, but it would be interesting to see this one in B&W. The contrast in the scene looks fitting for B&W.

Thanks for sharing this one...

Shades of Mr. Biggins...

What! Sacrifice those beautiful colors for a boring black and white? Unthinkable!

Beautiful shot Alan, very nice as it is but I can see how cropping to a pano format would make it even stronger.

Lol... I guess in my subconscious mind, I could see that one in B&W. Now I know why. I had already commented on the B&W version in the B&W forum.

It definitely works in B&W or color. A keeper, for sure.
