One hundred years ago, every city had at least one photographer with a photo studio. DC Harries was one of the photographers in Llandeilo South Wales, with branches in Ammanford and Llandover DC.
DC Harries business was incepted in 1888 and led until his death at the age of 75. Studio Portraits D. C. Harris’s with painted backgrounds and props, made during the Great War, give an interesting insight into the work of studio photographers at that time.
