The weather in Toronto has been very nasty so far since I came back from
our trip to Japan, so there is no funny photos nor artistic ones. Sorry for this.

The lens with NEX5 is: (a bit front heavy but I was waiting for a very long time for this)

Random photos (not good at all, but slightly better and larger ones are here> http://www.pbase.com/kkawakami/cz_planar_50mm_f20_contarex )

as a normal lens it can get very close (0.3m) at f2

of course you can shoot far objects too

The autumn was already ended (~fCool

of course our dog should be in here (~f5.6)

m@f2 close range

Celtic church at f5.6

(very) High heel at shop window @f5.6

Violets at f8

That's all folks.

Looks very good to me Koji!

How do you feel about the size of the NEX? I decided against it as it gives not enough grip for the various lenses I use and preferred my Lumix GH1.

Hi Klaus,

I think it is a bit too small, also it should have a good EVF. But in practice
my left hand grabs the lens and its focus, my right hand handles buttons
(for options) and shutter. So it works for me, Sony should comes up with
NEX7 with a finder (possibly EVF), rumour says so but not so sure now.

My ideal finder for this camera or next one is the finder of FUJI X100 (not yet
on the market) attached to the body or built in. The price definitely goes up,
but the finder is good I may buy it.

Some company already started selling magnifier for back screen (at DPI.com
as you know), but my problem is this: I need glasses to see the screen
clearly, but my DLRs have eyepiece collection lens so I do not need glasses.
I cannot carry or use the both at the same time easily... Sad
