p.1 #1 · Mexico- Three ladies

Taken 20+ years ago- scanned from prints recently.
#1- An old woman in Taxco who was patient enough to try to converse with me in Spanish, and then let me take her photograph.
#2- Her family lived within modest means, but when this small-town girl stepped outside, she looked her best.
#3- Girl on the beach in Acapulco. A family outing with the children splashing in a waveless surf. To my question, "Con su permisso?" the children's father said I could photograph the kids. This shot pleased me the most.

It has a timeless quality to it....a slice of time captured and preserved for ever.

Atta go, Charlie. All are very nice. You obviously have a way of putting your subjects at ease.
#3 absolutely belongs on a wall, card, or anywhere else where it can be more widely shared.

Thanks for the positive feedback.
It took me a long time to venture deep into Mexico. When I finally did, I gave myself a dope-slap for waiting so long. All the people I met were pleasant and friendly to the smiling gringo who tried to speak Spanish but seldom got past "Una cervesa, por favor," and "Donde esta el toilet?" Beer and a toilet- all a man needs to travel well

They are all quite nice, but the third is exceptional, technically, artistically, and emotionally.

Beautiful Charlie! #3 definitely steals the show for me but I like how the attire in #2 goes along with the fact that it's 20 years old.
