Hi guys. Here's a little teaser from the latest test drive, this time with the Porsche Cayman S. Tell me what you think..

Three comments:

1) That's my dream car (although not that color).

B) Nicely exposed, but I don't care for the angle thing.

III) The post is a distraction.

Thanks for showing a good photo of a splendid car.

Thanks for the comment, but I don't understand III. Are you referring to the black space in the background between the two buildings? Unfortunately, it was a very tight space and there was no way I could frame it otherwise.

Yes, that's what I meant, and I did presume that you were well aware of it and had no alternative... no offense meant!

None taken. I just wanted to make sure I understood correctly.

Here are two more shots with the Cayman S. You can also find out in the test drive an interior 3D panorama .

You've presented that car beautifully; you're adding fuel to the fire (of me wanting one)!

Great images.

In the first, the car is so perfect that the little bit of dirt on the left-rear tire is noticeable. Tiny nit.

In the last one, I only wish it had a little more space on the right... it feels cramped, like the car needs to scoot forward. Symmetrical left-right margins would look better in this one, I think.

Thank you all for the comments. Rodolfo, you are right about the last one. It is cramped, but as I said I was in a really tight space.

As for the dirt on the wheel, I wish I had the time to clean them. We only had the car for around 5 hours, including the actual test drive and the interior panorama. Luckily, the writer had driven this model before.

Great shots. Only thing I don't like is the trademark blurred on the plate, my eyes go right to it. I understand that's the watermark style, but don't do it on the plate.

How does the new one drive?

Thank you all for the comments.

Only thing I don't like is the trademark blurred on the plate, my eyes go right to it. I understand that's the watermark style, but don't do it on the plate.

The plate is not photoshopped and the blur is part of the website's logo. People seem to have a problem with that plate. I don't know why. I like it way better than having the original plate or deleting it in postprocessing.

I hope the writing is as good as the images.

Well, you can see for yourself here.

@kriss88

Well, the new PDK transmission is a huge improvement over the Tiptronic. It's really a pleasure. The direct injection is also a big plus, more power better mileage.

I'd rather have the real plate in the pic, but no blur. Blurring of plates is my pet peeve in auto photography, want your plate blurred, don't ask me to take the pic, I refuse.......now back to the Cayman S. I like the 911 better, but it's still a great looking car. Pity I'll never own one.

But that is a physical plate, it's not Photoshopped. It's a piece of plexi or something similar glued over the original plate.

great lighting and great car but the angles are killing me. ok not killing me but I am seeing so many more still shots of cars with over tiltage going on. It makes sense to me on a moving car but not when its just sitting there. plus it looks over done, meaning the angle is too much of an angle.

I do like your choice of backgrounds and i'm not sure how you lit the car but you did it well.

the black posts greatly distracts from the photograph.
I would probably ps off that license plate. It does not help
Nice care, would that works by itself, would avoid distractions imho.

Once again, thanks for the comments. The black post is in fact a space between two buildings. As mentioned in the early posts, if I had the space to move around I would definitely not have it in the shot. That plexi with autoevolution is sort of a watermark for the shots I take for the website. We glue it in every test drive over the original plate, which looks much much worse.

wordski, in my opinion, the tilting makes the image more dynamic. But you are right, some people can't stand it. As for the light, it was harsh sun si flash for fill.

Any comments on the interior panorama?

great processing. Looks like these pictures should be in a magazine or something.

What lens did you use?

Looks great to me! I think I may like the second one the best. Only possible flaw I notice is the license plate kinda looks too obviously photoshopped. It just stands out a little too much maybe. Too sharp and crisp or something. Not sure how to fix it though so maybe thats not much help. Just my observation. Other than that, I think they are wonderful.

@PowerShiftz02G

I normally use the 70-200, but due to space issues, I used a 50mm f/1.8 (I shoot Nikon).

@CreatorsPixels

Thanks. However, it seems I have a problem relaying this message to you. The plate is not photoshopped. It's a PHYSICAL piece of plexi engraved with the website logo and glued over the original one.

Still no comments on the panorama?

the Panorama is pretty cool. I don't get how you did that. did you just take 4 different photos and then piece them together?
