I generally like your work and leave comments as such.
ButI like this one more than most I have previously seen.
I would have to type as long as steady to give all the reasons I love the photograph.
but in short, great use of light angles and the extra wall to the side.

I look at this two ways. One the whole image and one with it cropped about an inch to the left of the stair post.

This is just a great image, thanks for sharing.

Agreeing with Steve, this is as good as it gets. That shadow of the lady on the far wall is perfect! Wonderful image.

while steady hands replys are fairly long, they are often filled with great advice. Instead of picking on him, why not learn from him?

Your suggestion is not needed, as I don't 'pick' on him. I ignore his chatter and read his advice.

Once again you two have set the bar higher than ever before. It WILL be a hard one to improve upon. The lighting and lines in this are subtle, telling and creative, and the overall look of the image is captivating. As you said in another post earlier today, you are out to create - and you just keep getting better at it! Beatifully done.

I also looked at it from the two different perspectives that monochrome suggested, but in this case I really think that the added effect of the shadow on the wall to her left adds a great deal to the impact of the image.

Bravo once again!

Stephen, for once there is not phtoshop treatment here (or almost none). The effect is created by a soft box underneathe the staircase. This is the sort of staircase whose stairs are made of only the horizontal level, no vertical element. Hence the light can filter through.... Ther eis only one light source here
