The D30 CSpro Plugin is a new sharpening technology specific designed to accommodate the Canon D30 SLR files. This plugin is compatible with JPEG files straight from the camera or TIFF/JPEG files converted from RAW.

Complexity makes this plugin very smart: It provides everything from haloless sharpening, edgesharpening, luminance sharpening, mode sharpening, and more with just the press of a button.
Included are 8 automated intensity levels and 2 Tweak levels.

The D30 CSpro Plugin is compatible with Photoshop Elements 1 and 2, Photoshop 6.0, 7.0 or higher

Below is an example comparing the D30 RAW file converted to 8-bit tiff with no sharpening as camera parameter against Photoshop USM setting and the "high" D30 CSpro setting:

Notice the accentuated halo effect from the Photoshop's USM setting compared to the D30 CSpro. Also pay attention to the amount of noise created by USM. The D30 CSpro does not increase noise and sharpens only what needs to be sharpened.

Now, let's compare USM and D30 CSpro with foliage against the sky. By the way all the samples are 100% crops from full 8-bit tiff files saved as jpg low compression.

On the above demonstration, you can see that the D30 CSpro does not sharpen the sky (keeping the sky noise identical to the original file) and applies haloless sharpening to the foliage and other elements. Again, these are 100% crops.

 

It's worth noting that D30 CSpro can be used with any type of images, from portraits, landscape, still-life and especially with HIGH ISO files. It sharpens your D30 files and keeps noise and artifacts to a minimum. (Also works with jpeg files straight from the camera.)
