The all new 10D ISOR PRO actions are a fast, easy and efficient way to affordably reduce noise from high ISO 10D files with professional results. It uses noise reduction technology specific designed to accommodate the Canon 10D professional SLR non-linear files, and works with files converted from RAW or JPEG straight from the camera.

What are the benefits of using 10D ISOR PRO compared to other noise reduction tools?

Complexity makes this action very smart. The 10D ISOR PRO action rapidly performs approximately 32 steps and offers separate actions for different ISO speeds. You'll even have the option of batching hundreds of images using Photoshop's batch mode. It is a great timesaver for professionals who want to clean up a large quantity of pictures all at once.

The main objective of the new 10D ISOR pro is to reduce noise while keeping the detail intact. The action provides an option to reduce the color noise (chroma noise) only, or other options that will reduce the luma and chroma noise simultaneously. Here's how it works:

The actions listed below eliminate chroma noise and reduce luma noise while maintaining almost 95 % of the detail:
ISO 100 to 400 ISOR: Action to be used with 10D ISO 100, 200 and 400 files
ISO 400 to 800 ISOR: Action to be used with 10D ISO 400 and 800 files
ISO 1600 to 3200 ISOR: Action to be used with 10D ISO 1600 and 3200 files

Also included in the 10D ISOR package is another action that eliminates chroma noise only while keeping 100 % of the detail:
Color noise removal Only: Action to be used with all ISO files

You won't get this level of noise reduction and detail retention with any other tool. Unlike other software that drastically remove noise and produce unnatural results, the 10D ISOR PRO reduces ISO speed noise to about 1.5 stops and is capable of keeping practically all of the detail intact.

Although both the D60 and 10D offer similar file size, the 10D ISOR PRO was redesigned from scratch in order to accommodate the noise levels and CMOS quality improvements in the 10D. The example above is from a 10D ISO 1600 image treated with the 10D ISOR pro action. As you can see the color noise has vanished - 100%. Color noise is the worst side-effect of digital high speed files. Luma noise was also reduced (around 1 full stop in this example).
